Pro: The apartment is part of a nearby 4 star hotel. Parking was available but getting to and from the hotel was difficult since it is in a restricted zone. However the parking garage supposedly takes care of any tickets that may be imposed on your car. The apartment overlooks the main plaza with the Medici palace and famous statues. Very central. The penthouse is beautiful and very well set up
Contro: Being on the main plaza, it is noisy due to crowds and church bells. Between midnight and 6 a.m. is good sleeping time..

Beautiful stay in Florence for 7 days.
Pro: The location of this apartment is 5 star. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to stay in this beautiful apartment, in our favourite Piazza with beautiful views. The apartment had everything we needed and was spacious, spotlessly clean and was a welcoming splace to come home to at the end of a busy day. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and so convenient, and the staff at the reception and in the dining room each morning were so kind, polite and attentive. We looked forward to greeting the staff in the morning. Reception staff were so helpful with taxi bookings, and advise about sights to see. They always greeted us with a smile. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pro: Everything was better than expected. The location, the furnishings and the amenities were all perfect.
Contro: This cannot be helped but the windows are not soundproofed so you will hear people even if everything is closed. For light sleepers it might be a problem

Contro: The breakfast included at the Hotel Berchielli was just good. No Housekeeping during our stay of 4 days. No iron.

I highly recommend the Michelangiolo Penthouse - you'll feel like a true Florentine!
Pro: This spacious and beautifully appointed apartment was the perfect place for my first-ever visit to Florence. Modern kitchen, art-inspired living room and bathroom and a simply stunning view from the picture window of the Piazza Della Signoria. Packed with interesting people and tour groups day and night, there was never a dull moment. Easy walking to the Uffizi Gallery, the Academia, the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio, plus cafes, bars, restaurants...it's all there! The apartment is managed by a nearby hotel; that's where you pick up and leave your keys. A word of advice: arrange your cab or Uber prior to your departure - private cars aren't allowed in the square, so you need to make arrangements ahead of time if you need a ride early in the a.m. or very late at night!
Contro: I thought the bed was excessively firm. But really, everything else was GREAT!

Pro: The location and the view are perfect. Spacious apartment. Love the lift! Like stepping back in time.
Contro: It has to have a raised table and chairs just to be able to sit and enjoy the view! It was a shame it didn’t that is a bit unforgivable.

Spacious, clean and Beautiful location
Pro: The place was a great location, within walking distance of many restaurants, tours, and museums and the three tenors. The place was clean and very spacious. You have to go to the hotel to pick up the key, they send you over to the piazza in a cab and a porter brings you bags, but it worked well. The Piazza at night is beautiful,
Contro: I am 80 years old, walk with a cane, and have difficulty managing stairs, so I make sure the places state they have an elevator. They should be more specific regarding the elevator, it says it has an elevator to the upper floors, which is does, but it it the steep 16 stair stairway you need to manage to get to the elevator was rather trying at times.
