Apartment LaCosta near Ponte Vecchio

Perfect comfortable stay , close to attractions! Very kind host.

Pro: Situated in an old building, you feel part of the history of this beautiful town but with modern amenities, very close to all attraction's and old town and also a grocery store very close by. The apartment was beautifully restored and everything was clean and neat. The host was extemely kind and helpful. They also provide a info guide with restuarants etc ....we found a few gems in there. All and all a very very good stay and good value for money. Also spacious enough for our family of 4 !

Contro: I would have moved the double bed to the back room with the big bathroom- but that is personal taste and not really a negative.

Pro: Authentically and well furnished home in the old part of town. Very comfortable with everything you could need. Smooth pick up of keys and orientation to the house by the host. We found it a quiet street although I notice other reviewers were concerned about noise.

Contro: We stayed during a heat wave and there was no air conditioning however fans were available for each room which made things comfortable enough to sleep. The house was on a hill so may not be easily accessible to some people.

Fantastic apartment with excellent hosts.

Pro: The apartment is in a brilliant location near the Ponte Vecchio and a short walk to Piazzale Michelangelo. Roberto and his wife provide lots of very helpful advice on where to go for both amenities and tourist attractions. Everything you need is provided as well as the apartment being full of character.

Contro: If people walk past the apartment overnight speaking loudly it can be heard from inside the apartment. This is a result of the age of the building and is definitely not the fault of the hosts! If you're a light sleeper I'd recommend taking ear plugs/noise cancelling headphones, aside from this our stay was faultless.

Pro: What a fantastic location. Roberto was great. Nice man.

Fabulous apartment in the best location

Pro: Fantastic apartment in a great location. Spacious, comfortable apartment a few minutes walk from all attractions but in a quiet location. Our host Roberto was super, communication excellent and he was very accommodating of our changing arrival time.

Contro: Nothing, truly excellent.

Pro: The apartment is in a fantastic location (so long as you are not driving!) close to everything, and the host was very kind and friendly. Its a beautiful apartment and we had a great time staying here.

Pro: Fijne ligging, dicht bij veel bezienswaardigheden. Maar zonder geluidsoverlast. Appartement van alle gemakken voorzien. Host was goed bereikbaar via whatsapp bij vragen. Eerder inchecken en iets later uitchecken was ook mogelijk.

Contro: Let op als je slecht ter been bent want je moet met twee trappen op. Ook in het appartement zijn wat trapjes.

Roberto is an excellent host and the property is lovely and good value.

Pro: The property is in the perfect location and has so much character. There are walls thicker than 2 feet and beautiful wood doors and beams. It really makes you feel like you are in a true Florence home!

Contro: It was not a problem for us, but people who are not steady on their feet might have an issue because it is an older home and there are transitions/ small steps between rooms. Our host pointed this out to us on arrival and it was fine for us!
