A home from home in Florence

Pro: This is the second time we have stayed at this property, it has a great location, we love being in the San Frediano area because it feels like you are away from the main tourist area with plenty of places to eat and buy groceries, but only a short walk to The Arno. The apartments are clean and comfortable with lovely towels and bedding provided, we stayed for a month a little while ago and we had everything we needed. The hosts make it easy with good communication via WhatsApp on the day of arrival. It has become our place of choice in Florence.

Contro: The TV could be a little larger for comfortable viewing but we didn’t use it much anyway. It can be a little noisy at night, especially at the weekend but you get used to it and obviously there are a lot of stairs up to the property with heavy cases but you can do it in stages.

Pro: Fantastic location, all main attractions and the centre of Florence just 15-20 mins walk. Super neighbourhood which was lively and vibrant but got you away from the main tourist area in the centre. 5 min walk to the river.

Contro: Our road was a little busy with traffic

Pro: So happy we found this place! Self-check-in was smooth and no issue. The apartment is beautiful and in a wonderfully accessible location on the peaceful side of the river. Would definitely stay here again.

A comfortable and convenient apartment in a vibrant location with plenty of amenities.

Pro: We stayed at the apartment for a month and the property was spacious, it had a lovely comfortable bed and a big shower. The kitchen was good for cooking basic meals with a large fridge freezer, oven and hob. It had its own washing machine and was provided with a large drying rack which was really useful. The location was excellent with a short walk past San Frediano church to the side of the Arno river, 15 minute walk to the station and about 20 minutes to the heart of Florence. There are two excellent express supermarkets within a 10 minute walk of the property and daily markets at piazza Santo Spirito and well as many others in and around the area. A vibrant neighbourhood with plenty of life that feels very safe.

Contro: Previous reviews already mentioned the steepness of the stairs up to the property, you needed to be fit and healthy to get your luggage up and down them and tackle them on a daily basis. They wouldn’t be suitable if you had young children. While nothing stopped us sleeping after our daily exploration of the sights, it could be quite noisy up until midnight as it is in a vibrant neighbourhood with a surprising amount of traffic noise.

Pro: Apartment in the old city, many bars and restaurants near the location. Easy check in and access without personal contact. Clean and spacious apartment.

Contro: Silverware and KitchenAid are pretty old

Pro: The apartment felt like home, spacious and very well decorated.

Contro: My feet is always covered with dust whenever I walk around the apartment. Seems as though the floor hasn't been mopped and we even found a big dried up leaf. The bedside tables were dusty too. There's a bar right below the apartment and we can clearly hear the noise from them since the bedroom window faces the main road. Maybe change the blinds to curtains, to reduce outside noise? Also, the bedroom blinds do not fully block the light from outside, it's very bright once the sun is fully risen.

Pro: L’appartement est proche du centre-ville mais pas dans la foule. Les prestations sont de qualité et l’équipe a l’écoute

Contro: La chambre donne sur la rue qui est assez bruyante de nuit c’est le seul défaut mais apres une certaine heure l’activité se calme.
