Via Dei Pepi Apartment

Pro: It was really like home away from home very very quiet everything you want and host very responsive.

Contro: The only thing that was a little difficult was 4 flights up stairs with no lift my wife and I are in our 70s and managed ok but for fit and healthy no problem keeps you fit.

Pro: The location was great! The apartment has everything you should need. The two AC’s really helped with the heat wave that was passing through Florence at the time.

Contro: The property is 5 flights of stairs up, no lift. The bed is a bit rickety and the couch is not very comfortable but nothing too bad!

Charming vintage apartment in the heart of Florence

Pro: The apartment is located in the very heart of Florence and close to all of the must-visit sights and landmarks, so you feel truly immersed in the city. The flat is very spacious, and the kitchen was the most well-equipped one I had in rented flats. The apartment definitely has its own charm cause it is on the top floor of a historic building, and the furnishing might seem a little vintage, but we loved it anyway. The view from the windows is stunning (see the pics!), and you can clearly see the Duomo and hear its bells chiming at a distance throughout the day, which makes you feel like living in a fairy tale. We truly enjoyed this stay!

Contro: Everything was fabulous!

A lovely place with heating issues

Pro: A very clean and beautiful place in the centre of the city. Wonderful view from the windows, great appliances - the coffee machine was making good coffee and there was a dish washer. The owner was fast to reply and solved some minor housekeeping issues (the wash basin got clogged) pretty fast.

Contro: We were travelling in the winter so we used the heating system of the apartment. The building is rather old and one time the circuit breakers tripped leaving us with no electricity. The owner sent instructions on how to fix it (you have to go in the basement to do this). Also, closer to the end of our stay the owner told us that we can use the heating system only 8 hours a day or we will have to pay a fine. We were not told that in advance and 8 hours of heating a day is not enough to warm the apartment - it's rather spacious with a hall staircase that's not closed off by a door. FYI, you have to go a long way up a steep staircase to reach the apartment. It was not an issue for me but if you're not in the best health it might be. One last thing to mention is that the sofa is not comfortable to sleep on - it's old and caved in. So if there are 3 of you one will not have the best rest at night.

Pro: Cuenta con todos los utensillos de cocina necesarios para pasar ahí unos cuantos dias, y también hay varias especias y condimentos. Esta bien ubicado.

Contro: Esta en el 4 piso por escaleras que son muy empinadas, y al llegar al cuarto piso, dentro del departamento hay otra escalera más. Definitivamente es una prueba a tu estado físico.

Pro: The location was excellent! The apartment is spacious, and the fully stocked kitchen was very nice to have. The air conditioning units worked fairly well and kept us comfortable.

Contro: There were several small bugs constantly present in the apartment despite us keeping the windows closed, and the washing machine did not clean the clothes very well and left them soaking wet to the point we had to spend an hour wringing everything out before hanging them on the lines.

Impecable 5to piso por escalera

Pro: El departamento estaba superbien equipado! Desde la vajilla, electrodomésticos y especias hasta varios paraguas! Sábanas y toallas impecables, lavarropas y lavavajillas con todos los productos necesarios.

Contro: Queda en un 5° (QUINTO!) piso por ESCALERA!!!!! Y no la publicación no lo avisa...

Pro: Die Unterkunft in der Via mezzo 12 war sehr gemütlich, sehr schön eingerichtet, mit Liebe zum Detail und viel Geschmack! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, für die Terrasse auf dem Dach mit dem tollen Rundblick war es leider noch zu kalt. Es warum wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter für das tolle Quartier!
