Osteria del Guanto by Mmega

Pro: Posizione super centrale, letteralmente dietro ponte vecchio e il museo degli Uffizi. L'appartamento era molto pulito, le camere spaziose e i letti comodi. I gestori assolutamente gentili, disponibili e pronti ad aiutare, al momento del check out, uscendo dalla casa abbiamo chiuso la porta, lasciando le chiavi dentro come da istruzioni, ma avevamo dimenticato una valigia all'interno. Ho contattato i gestori e immediatamente ci hanno dato assistenza.

Contro: Le uniche note meno positive sono: 1- data la centralita' del posto e con una night life abbastanza concentrata, si sentono rumori e urla per strada fino a tardi, ovviamente questo non da imputare alla struttura ma come dicevo dipende dall'ubicazione. 2- L'appartamento e' ubicato al terzo piano, senza ascensore perche' un palazzo storico, lo rende meno fruibile a tutti. Pero' a parte questo noi, senza particolari esigenze, lo consigliamo e ci ritorneremmo.

Pro: Posizione eccezionale a due passi dal centro. Struttura dotata di tutti i comfort. Si vede che è stata ristrutturata da poco. Camere da letto ampie e dotate di tv con dolby surround e climatizzatore. Bagno con ampia doccia. Cucina attrezzata con lavastoviglie, lavatrice, frigorifero e microonde.

Pro: Location is superb! Uffizzi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio is 3 minutes away. Comfortable beds, enough space for 5 persons. Very clean.

Contro: Noisy street, although for us it wasn't a problem. The apartment is on the third floor so it might be a problem for elderly persons.

Pro: Great location, easy check-in/out, very comfortable, clean, and well equipped.

Best two nights I have ever had in Florence.

Pro: Perfect location, all major attractions within walking distance. Nice neighbourhood with shops and restaurants. Bus stop close by. Spotlessly clean flat, excellent communication with host, smooth check-in. Value for money? Absolutely.

Contro: Don't know. Everything worked - I even liked the decorations on the walls.

Pro: All of it! Location, the rooms, the beds, kitchen, couch, air conditioning was excellent, checking in was easy and quick which is very convenient. Every thing was close by! Will definitely book this again when i visit florence! Wifi is great too! Tv works! Shower was awesome, just awesome! Not recommended for people that has issues with stairs, but for friends and others its awesome

Contro: Stairs was not a fan since my parents are kinda at that age, but they too were very satisfied with their first stay in florence cuz of this place!

Pro: The location is super central 2-5 min walk to all key attractions. The flat size was amazing , beds are super comfortable. Bed sheets brand new.. it's a 3 bedroom property so 6 people could stay. It's on the top floor so be prepared to lift luggage. Honestly the flat was superb. TV in each room, kitchen is great, right next to so many cafes and coin store. I was so impressed

Pro: Nice apartment in the centre, we could walk everywhere.

Almost Perfect!

Pro: The location is in a great spot opposite the Instagrammers' favourite sandwich shop.in Florence! The road it runs on has fantastic places to eat and is minutes from Uffizi. The apartment itself had almost everything we needed, but no tea towels or toaster, which would have been great additions.

Contro: We would have liked some information about the local area e.g. where to get some provisions for the fridge. There are some places nearby, but we did have to trawl around back streets to fall across a carrefour. Also, as the location is in a buzzy area, there is some early morning noise from the delivery drivers, etc.

Amazing location and lovely apartment but very annoying issues with heating and boiler.

Pro: Amazing location - steps away from sights and attractions. Spacious, newly-renovated and spotless apartment with super comfy beds and thoughtful facilities (e.g. wireless charges by the bed). Support services were great and responsive for issues that arose, whether it was during the day or after hours.

Contro: We had issues with the heat and boiler EVERY DAY of our 7-night stay. The hot water supply was inconsistent and we had no hot water for the first few days there despite talking to support and troubleshooting the boiler (up in the attic) frequently. The hot water would come back temporarily after we reset the boiler but it would not last for more than 2 showers. Hours were spent trying to fix the boiler and we were in conversation with support daily.
