Charming Apartment in Oltrarno

Great apartment for Florence stay

Pro: Great location, apartment was clean, all the things you expect from an apartment and all working as expected. Plenty of space too. We met one of the staff at the apartment and he was friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions regarding local supermarkets, coffee shops, bars, restaurants and even provided some tips on the sites to see. They even provided little extras like washing detergent which made things easier.

Contro: Living room couches are a bit worn but not uncomfortable. Bed was also squeaky but again a minor issue. The street was extremely noisy, not sure if that's typical of Florence or its just that street, its a bit harsh to put as a negative on the owners since they can't do anything about it but there were late truck deliveries, dogs barking and people shouting at all hours. I would probably advise ear plugs just in case for those visiting.

Enjoyable stay in the heart of the community.

Pro: The size of the apartment is great with two sofas to rest on at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The king-size bed was comfortable with fresh clean linen. Location is great in the area of Oltrarno. A special mention to the trattoria round the corner Trattoria I'raddi, 49 Via D'Ardiglione. Traditional food, great service and no tourist menu! Also Trattoria Da Ginone 1949. If you like your craft beer the Archea Brewery Via dei Serragli, 44R has an excellent selection.

Contro: The apartment has charm but is tired. Bathroom is older and in need of modernisation, especially the shower which had little space and a broken door. However plenty of hot water and good pressure. Some street noise but you're in a city so expected as bedroom is at the front.

Very nice!!

Pro: The apartment was very nice, clean and in quiet neighborhood, but still close to all sights. Plenty of restaurants nearby and short walk to the railway station. Persons with whom we were in contact was friendly and very informative. Everything went well and we were pleased with our stay in this apartment.

Charming Apartment is a great place to stay - highly recommended!

Pro: This apartment is in a perfect location, easy to walk anywhere. It was very large for a city apartment, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities you need. The kitchen is big and a great place to have coffee and croissants in the morning. In particular, the hosts were fantastic! Matias and Caesar were quick to respond to any question, very flexible and friendly.

Contro: I didn't really spend any time in the living room because the couches were pretty uncomfortable. It isn't mentioned in the listing, but the apartment is on the 3rd floor, so there are many steps!

Pro: La chambre est très grande et le mobilier est choisi avec soin. Les lits sont confortables. L'emplacement est idéal si vous souhaitez un cartier animé mais hors du centre touristique. Notre hôte était très réactif et nous avons beaucoup apprécié tous les conseils donnés lors de notre arrivée.

Contro: Bien que l'appartement donne sur une petit rue résidentielle, les fenêtres ne coupaient pas vraiment le son des personnes qui trainaient dans la rue le soir. Si vous êtes sensibles au bruit, apportez des bouchons. Pour le reste, tout était parfait!

Nice large apartment with everything you could need!

Pro: This is a big apartment! I loved that it had extra amenities like a washing machine. It was stocked with detergent and any supplies needed. It was located on a nice street and the host was very attentive!

Contro: The apartment is a little dated but it wasn’t a major issue. The extra space made up for it!
