A lovely apartment in the middle of the city, perfect for a family stay in Florence

Pro: Duallook was an amazing place to stay in Florence. The apartment is ideally located within 10 mins of S.M Novella Station and is close to all the top tourist attractions in Florence. The apartment is well kept, had great amenities including a fridge and freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. For a family of 6, there was ample space too so it wasn’t cramped. Niccolò was an amazing host as well, very responsive on WhatsApp, flexible and accommodating, and shared great knowledge about the city with things to do and food to try.

Contro: Not specific to the property, however the footpaths of Florence are not very wide, so getting there with suitcases may be challenging with young kids or people with disabilities.

Pro: Absolutely loved everything about this place! From the moment we entered the apartment! Niccolo the host was welcoming and accommodating. The apartment was clean, in the perfect location. Beds were comfortable and it wasn’t noisy. I would love to return to Florence and if we do, we wouldn’t hesitate to return. 3 bedrooms suiting our family of 5.

Great apartment, great location, great host.

Pro: A secure, clean and well maintained apartment in a great location, with reasonable walking access to the Duomo, Michelangelo's David, Santa Croce and the central market. Plenty of restaurants and bars to suit all pockets. The host kept in text contact on the day of arrival and met us outside the apartment, and inside didn't disappoint. A well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, decent cooking utensils. Two bathrooms were well stocked, and there were plenty of towels, hand wash and shower gel. The terrace upstairs is a small area for a morning coffee for two or three people, and if you have a longer stay (more than a week) the utility room has a washer/dryer and extra clothes. Bedrooms are all spacious with decent cupboard space, and beds are comfortable. Didn't notice too much outside noise from the road, so windows provided good insulation.

Contro: If you like to stay in and cook, then the provision of chef's/cooks knives would be useful. Trying to peel onions with a bread knife was at most amusing and at worst a hazard. There are two lounge rooms with comfy sofa/beds (one with a TV). In reality, these areas also serve as a walk through corridor to the second bathroom and the staircase to the terrace. Two flights of stairs to the apartment and no lift, but to be expected in converted character properties such as this. It's not a deal breaker!

Great place in Florence

Pro: The apartment was very spacious, large bedrooms, comfy beds and very clean. Our host greeted us showed us around and was available for any questions. Easy walking distance to everything.

Contro: Nothing, everything was great
