Pro: The location of the farm is close to the centre of Florence, the staff were very kind and friendly.

Contro: There is no housekeeping, the farm doesn't provide room cleaning services

Wonderful stay, especially for families traveling with young children.

Pro: This place is ideal for children with so much to explore and discover! From the animals and botanic garden to the restaurant, bees, and the charming little castle by the lake—not to mention the pool! We stayed in one of the apartments, which is perfect for families. It offers lots of privacy, is spacious, and is conveniently near the pool. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, with easy communication via WhatsApp and quick responses. The agriturismo is very close to Florence (just a 10-minute drive). We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it!

Contro: Although it didn't bother us much, the air conditioning wasn't always working properly. However, when we reported it, the staff immediately attended to it and fixed the issue. They even gave us a small bottle of olive oil at checkout to apologize for any inconvenience. The apartments are a bit older, so don't expect a modern setup, but everything functions well, and the view is stunning!

Pro: Amazing place to stay at when visiting Florence - especially for families with kids, but also for everyone searching for some peace and quiet in a close vicinity to the city center - the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio are all just a short drive away down the hill. The entire complex is beautiful, spacious and with a lot of interesting areas to spend your time.

Perfect for families with young kids that want activities and have a car so can travel around

Pro: Location - views were incredible. We loved the farm and on-site restaurant that used all the produce. Also the pizza night was perfect for our family. The apartment was a very good size, having a big kitchen really helped.

Contro: The rooms were a bit tatty in places. Some plaster falling off the walls, although the rooms were kept very clean. They just need some renovation work

Heerlijk

Pro: De Fattoria is een prachtig oud klooster met appartementen en kamers. Wij verbleven in la Terrazza, een geweldig groot sfeervol appartement met uitzicht over Florence. Ik had er kunnen wonen! Verwacht geen design maar antiek en warmte. Het heeft een restaurant met eerlijke keuken en met klein winkeltje. Florence is 15 minuten met de taxi. Mooi zwembad, met kinderbadje, en een groot terrein met heuvels, dieren en olijfbomen. Alle medewerkers zijn alleraardigst en behulpzaam. Een tweetal goede restaurants op loopafstand.

Contro: Eigenlijk beviel alles. Wat ik wel apart vond is dat in augustus het restaurant een vast - ietwat beperkt - menu serveert op bepaalde weekdagen. Dat is denk ik een gemiste kans.

Beautiful location and accommodations

Pro: The room was beautiful, the view was stunning, Pool was incredible. Family friendly, the pony rides were fun for kids. The food at the restaurant was good, good wine, olive oil and coffee.

Contro: The mattresses were not the most comfortable but that was the only real complaint.

It has been me of the most relaxing settings on our trip through Tuscany. You’re there fora day and it feels like a week

Pro: The location is absolutely beautiful and only a few minutes from the center of Florence.

Pro: I stayed at Fattoria di Maiano last week with a group of 10 people. We had an amazing stay. The rooms and the property were so beautiful, the staff were so kind and helpful, and the food was so fresh and delicious.
