Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Quality doesn't come cheap!

Pro: Excellent breakfast. Location is excellent - beautiful views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio from the right rooms. Lots of good restaurants in the Oltrarno area of town, better than towards the more touristy areas.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast, would recommend but be aware of the rooms facing the street!

Pro: Best hotel breakfast we have experienced. Lovely location, friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic family rooms.

Contro: Even though our windows were closed we could hear everything on the street below, as if we were actually outside, and we were on the 6th floor! Very noisy at night, from 4/4.30 am street cleaning and heavy traffic started and at night yelling and ambulances etc were heard. We slept there for 4 nights and every night was disturbed unfortunately. Otherwise a lovely hotel!

Excellent hotel in the heart of Florence

Pro: The location is outstanding - short walk to Ponte Vecchio from where you can reach all the major sites in Florence on foot. The hotel is upscale and boasts its own Michelin-starred restaurant, which we enjoyed. By far the best part was the spectacular view from our balcony - of the river Arno and Ponte Vecchio, esp. at sunset. Breakfast was great, too!

Contro: The rooms are a bit small - even though we were able to mange to fit everything in, for the high price we paid, one would have expected more space.

Bliss! Perfect location and wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

Pro: The location and the view were amazing and the staff were exceptionally friendly. It was our birthdays and they arranged balloons and as requested a mini cake and bottle of Sancere our favourite wine. Everything from the deadheading of the flowers to the folding of the base of the curtains was meticulous. The rooms were serviced twice a day it was just divine.

Contro: Everything was so expensive, but it was 5 star so to be expected. It was disappointing that the roof top terrace was closed as we were looking forward to meals and evening drinks there.
