Unique and special place, helpful staff.

Pro: Spectacular property and very secluded. Still good for Florence centre. Staff were very helpful. Deluxe Bedroom was superb.

Contro: Breakfast should be more for this price; and the pool area should be better stocked and better staffed - it doesn’t really deliver for the price.

Lovely Place, so charming...

Pro: We loved the hotel, the infrastructures, the pool, the staff. Breakfast is good but no excellent. I've been in a lot of boutique hotels/heritage hotels around the world and that hotel deserves a better breakfast.

Contro: We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and we waited more than 1 hour for a regular meal with a OK quality and huge price. This lovely and charming hotel deserves a better restaurant with more quality.

Pro: The property and the surrounding grounds are beautiful, the whole experience is incredibly relaxing. The interior of the building is eclectic and interesting with lots of space to relax and unwind. The staff are second to none, very attentive but not overbearing and are always willing to help. The restaurant is beautiful, even though Florence is packed with an endless number of great restaurants we ended up having dinner there twice over our four days. It was beautiful.

Pro: The food, the wine, the staff, the pool, the view, the ambience and the style.......the fact that you are in Florence but you are not : it overlooks the City and is so close so at the end of the day you can retreat to this luxurious location (there is a shuttle bus to and fro into Florence hourly ......

Pro: Quintessentially Italian. Extremely relaxing and beautifully presented.

Contro: The only thing I’d like to see improved is the pool area and to have a section which is properly heated - it was a lovely temperature for adults in the sun but too cold really for our 18 month old.

Pro: Amazing service that could not have been better. My husband and I ran into some trouble (theft in town centre) but the staff here offered every bit of help possible to alleviate the inconveniences and made our stay in Florence so much better than it would’ve been. Dinner was lovely and the ambience was great with a beautiful view over Florence. The hotel was beautiful and stylish with class, and absolutely lives up to its 5 stars! The spa is also a hidden gem that’s beautifully maintained. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Florence.
