Contro: I wish there had been a lift instead of stairs but worth the climb to stay in the quiet apartment away from the hustle and bustle of Florence but within easy reach. Also you must be aware of a street numbering system that does not always work consecutively for historic reasons.

Pro: The host was very anxious to make sure we were happy. There was a bowl of fresh fruit in the fridge, and he explained how to get to some of the tourist sites.

Contro: The apartment was at the top of 3 flights of stairs.

Pro: Good quiet location, spacious apartment as in the photos, good value for money. The owner is also very friendly and helpful.

Great host and nice apartment

Pro: The host was very helpful, made a great effort to communicate with us, gave us great recommendations, was honest and sensible. Although the building looks old, the apartment is very comfortable, has air conditioning, TV, an iron, washing machine, a dehumidifier in the bathroom, a fully furnished kitchen, and windows with mosquito protection. It is very safe as well.

Contro: THE BUILDING HAS NO ELEVATOR. It is not the owner's fault, but take it into account before renting. The shower space is tiny, so make sure you are flexible enough to wash yourself without bending over. Location is somewhat far from downtown, although it's easy to get there by public transport.

For the first time in Florence

Pro: Florence is definitely one of my favourite cities! Near the studio we rented there is a bus stop, tram, but you can easily walk to the train station and the city centre. The host, a particularly kind and friendly man , gave us countless information. He even called a travel agency for us and booked us on a day trip to Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa. And if that wasn't enough, he picked us up in his car and took us to admire Florence from piazzale Michelangelo and the Abazzia di San Miniato al Monte. We'll happily return to Florence, especially since I know where we'll be staying.

Pro: Great apartment, cozy and clean, great location away from the crowd yet very central, and the host is lovely! We will come back.

Pro: Two separate rooms for parents and kids Washer and dryer imwas quite usuful. Just need to bring a small batch of detergent.

Contro: The location is too near to take a bus, but a bit far to walk from the train station. We ended up taking the bus everytime we went out. The kitchen could be little more clean, but very usable.
