Pro: The localisation is more than amazing. It's practically in the centre and yet it's very quiet because that particular street is quite a non-touristic one. The apartment is one fine oryginal place. Two terraces - one better than the other one. From both of them views are absolutely amazing. The bigger one has many really nice plants. I guess, apart from the views, the apartment has a real local character. Many furniture that isn't really useful but still gives the Italian taste. Christian was very helpful through all our staying in the apartment. His hospitality won't be forgotten.

Contro: As far as I praised the original,rustical character of the apartment, it would be nice to improve some things. There were no soaps in both bathrooms. There should be clear instructions about finding extra toilet papers, using a dishwasher, or throwing garbage. Also, mosquitos were a real problem in our case, so installing some net would be great improvement. But none of those are a really big problem, so my rating is still super high.

The best stay in Florence!

Pro: We spent a lot of time searching for great accommodations for our trip to Italy,and Florence was no exception. I picked it specifically for the location but was pleasantly surprised by everything else! Unit is in the middle of everything and a short walk to the cathedral, the Uffizi, Gallerie Accademia, the train station, etc. Our host Cristian was very accommodating and gave detailed video instruction on Whatsapp on how to access the unit (often hosts of rental properties will only give a list or small photos to show how to get the keys which can be sometimes confusing, so the videos from Cristian were very helpful and easy to follow) The unit is HUGE with great views of the city and Duomo from both balconies, and the whole unit has a cozy, rustic vibe indicative of Tuscany that we really enjoyed. Will forever recommend this place to any friends who visit the area.

Contro: The washing machine is on the main balcony in a little shed-type thing next to the wall which we didn't check because we thought it just contained gardening tools, ha... It took a bit of time to find. The only rooms with AC are the kitchen and living room; the bedrooms got pretty hot at night in the summer, but fans are provided and it was tolerable. Helpful tip: If you stay here and are booking an Uber or rideshare on your phone app, do not do it from your room, do it from the street; the unit is on the opposite side of the building from the main entrance, so if you book an Uber from your room, the driver will come to the wrong side of the building. We learned this through trial and error!

Pro: The terrace was amazing and the bedrooms were well set up. My kids really appreciated the extra tower look out at the top. I enjoyed cooking dinner with a view at sunset and then eating out on the terrace.

Contro: Our only issue was that it was very hot, over 35 degrees and we had some trouble sleeping in the bedrooms. There was AC upstairs in the lounge, but it could still be quite warm in the bedrooms. Fans were provided.

Un appartement de charme très bien situé au cœur de la cite

Pro: La terrasse avec une vue sublime sur le Duomo et le Bargello. Le côté vintage et charmant de l appartement et sa localisation à deux pas des institutions prestigieuses de la ville. 2 petites salles de bain à chaque étage et un calme très appréciable.

Contro: Il manquait une machine à café surtout en Italie ! Sinon tout était conforme aux images de booking

Pro: Anyone staying in Firenze should stay in this apartment in a fascinating old building very near the center. The roof terrace with an observation tower is amazing to have breakfast or a drink in the evening with a rooftop view of the famous buildings. Very well equipped with wifi, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine. A few minutes walk from the major historic places with a famous ice cream parlor round the corner.

Contro: Lift part way then a bit of an effort to get heavy cases up to the apartment but it is worth it for the roof terrace.

an ideal stay - we will never forget the views!

Pro: The verandah and the views from the windows were excellent and the location was perfect to get to all monuments!

This is a funky place and it is a good find because of it’s location.

Contro: Air conditioning was not adequate.

Pro: Spacious, clean, great proximity to local places of interest. AMAZING view on the large rooftop patio. It was very secure and quiet. Excellent value.

Contro: It was unusually hot for the season and the AC wasn't quite adequate. But there was thankfully Plenty of airflow through the windows which helped a bit. There were no trash bins or directions with what to do with the waste. It's a bit tight with a lot of steps to navigate your luggage. If you're not in shape or on the plus size it could be a little uncomfortable navigating into and around this property.
