Great stay in a Florentine home

Pro: Great place to stay for our 6-day winter visit to Florence. We loved the experience of staying in a Florentine home, and the grand piano was such a bonus. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was quiet and an easy walk into the centre of town. George was a very attentive host and communicated very well.

Pro: The apartment is beautiful and quiet in a perfect location and we will definitely love to stay here on every trip to Florence.

Pro: George was extremely kind and helpful in welcoming us to the apartment. It made a difference in our stay. The apartment is charming and very comfortable. You have absolutely everything you need for a short stay. It's spacious and perfectly located if you want to be close but in the middle of everything. We spend 5 amazing days doing 100% of things by foot.

Contro: It's already informed but the apartment is on the second floor with no elevator and the stairs are a bit narrow. So keep this in mind for accessibility. Upon our arrival, George kindly helped us with our luggage.

Pro: Incredible location within a short walk to many sites, including the Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio. Everything is extremely convenient location-wise. The apartment itself radiates, charm, warmth, and high-quality comfort. I love the sophisticated, authentic vibes! The owner is extremely helpful and available for anything that comes up. Each time I have stayed here, it has been the most positive Florentine experience ! It is a real treat to experience “life as a local”.

Contro: This is not a negative, but it is important to note that this is a walk-up so stairs are definitely involved. As with many other buildings throughout Italy, the trade off of authenticity and old world charm is the lack of elevators. :)

Bella Grand Piano Appartamento- Perfetto!!! A true jewel in the magical city of Florence.

Pro: Everything was perfect! Georg, the owner, was incredibly hospitable and most gracious. Outstanding communication and dialogue. His suggestions were excellent! I felt truly “Florentine” during my stay 🇮🇹. Appointments are high quality antique in feel. I visited with my sister and this space is perfect for adults /solo travelers. The location is awesome! Everything needed was literally down the street including the Ponte Vecchio. The property is next to Boboli Gardens. I look forward to my next visit and hope to stay again, perhaps longer. Contro: This was not a showstopper for us, but there are stairs to maneuver, so would be a challenge for anyone who may find that aspect difficult. Many centro storico apartments are without elevators-which most travelers realize.

Pro: Nach der Kultur in Florenz findet man in der Wohnung alles, um nachzulesen, nachzufühlen - sei es dank einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, dank vorhandener Wörterbücher, Reiseführer, Lexika ... oder dank dem wundervollen Piano. Kultur pur! Dazu kümmert sich der Gastgeber wirklich aufmerksam und liebevoll. Wir haben uns noch nie so gut umsorgt gefühlt. Die Lage der Wohnung ermöglichte uns, 5 Tage ohne weitere Verkehrsmittel zurecht zu kommen. Stressfreier geht es nicht.
