Porta Romana stay

Pro: Great location in Porta Romana, walking distance to the river and the Duomo. Right around the corner from Palazzo Vecchio. The room has plenty of space, it is a bit quirky. Yes as others have noted the steps are steep and can be a challenge carrying suitcases. I'd stay here again having said all that.

Contro: Kitchen layout was a challenge

Great location, apartment & comfy bed.

Pro: Great location, the apartment was exactly what the photos showed, provided everything we needed for 4 nights, but is somewhere you could stay for a month. It was clean, & really comfortable bed!

Family trip in Florence

Pro: Cozy italian apartman in the downtown of Florence. Carrefour can be found next to the house.

Contro: The apartman can be cleaner.

Pro: Excelent location, close to important areas of the city, cleaness, books available, nice rooms

Contro: The apartment needs some technical maintenance: living room TV set did not work, etc

Pro: The host is very welcoming. The Apartment is large and quiet. The bed is very comfortable. The location is very close to the old town and it takes only 10-15 minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio.

Pro: Very comfortable and large apartment, kept extremely clean and in a quieter area of Florence (while still being close to all the action!). We loved our time, and Niccolo is extremely helpful. It was a really nice change of pace to feel like we were right at home compared to staying in hotels - Highly recommend!

Contro: Everything was excellent! We had some difficulty with opening the building door lock (pretty normal for Florence) but once the host showed us the trick we had no issues at all.

Pro: The apartment is located on the second floor of the building - no elevator! The location is nice and the apartment is very spacious and clean, located around 1km from Ponte Vecchio in a busy street. There is parking for 2e/hr in the vicinity of the building.
