Fattoria Montignana

Pro: La struttura bellissima e la piscina grande e in mezzo al verde magnifica

Contro: La doccia che non era fissata bene e l'acqua calda che cambiava temperatura.

Pro: Appartamento molto carino, ci sono tavolini e sdraio in giardino per godersi il relax. Piscina grande e vigneti molto belli.

Pro: Appartamento spazioso e molto confortevole,letti comodi, ottima posizione, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo

Pasqua bellissima in chianti.

Pro: Posizione strategica per visitare borghi e Firenze. Ambiente piacevolissimo, pulito, spazioso e Nicoleta ci ha accolto benissimo. Consiglio l'acquisto del vino in vendita c/o la struttura: chianti ottimo.

Contro: Visto che il monolocale è dotato di cucina suggerirei di far trovare una dotazione minimale che era assente: olio, sale, pepe, thé, spugna per i piatti e detersivo. Forse nella stagione estiva con soggiorni più lunghi vengono forniti.

A pleasant Tuscan getaway

Pro: Lovely spot not far off main roads but secluded and expansive grounds with lovely views. Nicely done conversion of an old farmhouse with tasteful patio and pool additions. Staff was super.

Contro: No oven or microwave in the kitchenette - stovetop only; important since there's no onsite or nearby restaurant. Paid a little more than I think we would have in another market; Florence area tends towards overpriced, but this property was less extortionist than many others in the area.

I would totally recommend it if you are looking for a retreat or silent place out of the city.

Pro: View and the service. Violeta was so kind and very attentive.

Contro: The beds could be improved. But everything else was beautiful and clean.

Pro: Everything! tHe space, the pool, the immersive experience in the Chianti area.

Contro: The space around the bed.

Perfect location for the tuscany vibe!

Pro: We had a really pleasant stay at Fattoria Montignana. (App. 6) It had a great view in a quite area. The location is perfect for the Tuscany vibe/wine and to visit Florence, Siena and Arezzo. Also the villages and vineyards nearby are worth to visit. The swimming pool is fine to cool down on warm days. The new insect screens in front of the windows are a very good investment, since there are a lot of musquito’s, bugs and flies at the location. Beds are good, kitchen was complete and bathrooms are clean. Last but not least, residential housekeeper Violetta was very warm, helpfull and friendly.

Contro: The WIFi can be more stable and to develop the location to a higher level an airco would be welcome.

Peacefully farmstay apartment with spectacular rural views.

Pro: The reception by the residential housekeeper, Violeta, was very warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with spectacular views of the surrounding district and neighbouring vineyards. The shuttered windows were practical and effective, letting sunlight into the room when wanted, while allowing a cool, dark rooms at night. It was lovely to be welcomed by a bottle of the local Chianti, thank you. I visited a few local restaurants and was very pleased with the fare and, of course, the variety of wines on offer. It was the off-season when I visited so the swimming pool and BBQ weren’t operational, but both setups look excellent. I look forward to visiting the Fattoria Montignana again, perhaps during the warmer months next time to be better able to enjoy all of the amenities on offer.

Contro: A gift pack of coffee, tea and milk would have made my welcome that much better. These would have been most appreciated, especially after what was a longish drive from Milan. That said, the nearby village is only a short drive away, so buying a some was an easy fix :)
