Beautiful place, beautiful vibe, great location, wonderful host.

Pro: The building and the apartment were absolutely beautiful. The street itself has true Italian vibe and look. It is quiet, but has variety of restaurants very close by. Walking distance to Florence’s centre but if not keen, on walking, it has local buses going there very frequently. Absolutely loved staying here, and we would come back if ever visiting Florence again.

Lovely place, great hosts, fabulous location.

Pro: The hosts were fabulous; both Eugenio and Marta were very responsive, clear and accommodating. The apartment was clean, spacious and full of light. The outdoor space was incredible, however for us it was a bit too chilly outside to fully enjoy it. We'd love to experience this in the summer. We had an amazing time.

Contro: The noise from the rubbish collection outside (5 am, several loud trucks every day). Restaurants throwing glass bottles in the recycling bins at 1 am. In general, there is a lot of noise in the neighbourhood. Recommend earplugs!

Pro: Many thanks to Eugenio and Marta for hosting us! We had a wonderful time at Palazzina Maresa — a new, clean apartment with a modern and stylish design, located in a quiet area near the beautiful Boboli Gardens. It’s close to the city centre, perfect for walking or taking a short bus ride (the bus stop is nearby). The real treasure for us was the lovely backyard garden 👌

Would recommend this place to stay if travelling to Florence!

Pro: Eugenio was amazing right from when we arrived! It was our first time in Italy and he made us feel very welcome. He provided us with a bottle of wine and some local cookies to celebrate our honeymoon. The newly renovated suite was beautiful and clean, and had a gorgeous courtyard that we enjoyed in the evening. He gave us recommendations of areas to visit. Any question we had regarding the suite, he would show up to answer us within minutes. Highly recommend this spot!

Pro: We stayed in the studio apartment for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment and the entire building are beautifully designed — modern yet full of charm, preserving the history and heritage of the place. The apartment was very comfortable, and the mattress was excellent. We arrived in Florence by car, and the owner kindly allowed us to park in the building’s parking area, even though the apartment doesn’t officially include parking. The location was perfect for us — we didn’t need to drive into the city center, and all the main attractions were easily accessible on foot or by public transport.

Pro: Eugenio was the perfect host, so hospitable and kind. His communication was brilliant, letting us know the apartment was ready early and also making several local recommendations for places to eat. I needed some antibiotics whilst staying and Eugenio explained how I could get them, which was super easy and made a stressful situation far more simple. The apartment itself was decorated beautifully, with gorgeous high ceilings. The garden allowed a sense of calm in the city for when we needed a break from the crowds. The history of the building and it being a family project made it all the more lovely. We’ll definitely use Eugenio’s apartment again when we return to Florence - thank you!

Extremely pleasant with the garden setting.

Pro: Excellent host as he was always available and went out of his way to help you in any way he could. The property was in a beautiful area and only about 2 kms from the Ponte Vecchio. It was not swamped with tourists so you did not have to fight your way through them to get to where you wanted to go. The walk to the main attractions was very pleasant. A real plus was that it had a very large and most beautiful garden setting which was accessable to guests. This is most unusual in Florence and we have been here many times in the past. The area generally had lots of trees and parklands in the surrounding areas. Near the Boboli gardens and Pitti Palace. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay there again

Pro: The apartment was gorgeous and a really large size, we really liked the terrace that came with it and was only a short walk for city centre. Great for a family stay, would recommend!
