Pro: L appartamento si trova nel quartiere Santo Spirito, tra i più autentici della città, a piedi si raggiungono le principali attrazioni. Pulito, confortevole, perfetto per la famiglia.

Amazing, immersive and interesting apartment

Pro: The apartment is amazing – like stepping into a Renaissance cosplay. It feels as though you’re staying in a living, tactile museum, but only in the best possible way. We had three generations of family with us and everyone was genuinely stunned by the place. Evenings after dinner were wonderful; sitting with wine in the lamplight felt like being inside a painting from the Uffizi. It was fun, and it was beautiful. We usually stay around the Santa Spirito area when we visit Florence, and this apartment was a far more enjoyable, pleasant, and immersive experience than many of the hotels we’ve tried on previous trips. Elly, the host, was brilliant – incredibly accommodating and lovely in every interaction. We loved the place, and the apartment unexpectedly became an integral part of the trip. That says a lot, because hotel rooms usually fade into the background when competing with Florence as a city; here, the apartment played an equal part in the overall experience.

Contro: There was nothing we did not like

Pro: Splendid apartment! If you are looking for authentic Florence, this is a very unique experience, a palazzo of 16th century with authentic magnificent frescoes of Medici's time - a piece of art, furniture of centuries-long history. Impeccable, beautiful, and very comfortable at the same time. Equipped with all you need for a short or long stay. Bed is comfortable. Stayed in November, and it was not humid in apartment. Very warm. Elly was extremely helpful and friendly, and gave suggestions you might want to follow to get off the beaten tourist track. A very rare place, would return for sure. Wine from the palazzo owner's wineyards, which you may buy on site, is good quality Chianti and IGT, worth tasting. Highly recommended!

Fabulous palace in the heart of beautiful Florence

Pro: Wow wow wow it’s an actual palace with original frescoes! Very ornate and comfortable our host Elly was very informative and helpful. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom and huge sitting room complete with wine you can buy and put cash in honesty box which was a nice touch. The location is great too in Santo Spirito with lots of nice bars and restaurants close by and an easy walk over the river to the duomo and Uffizi and Accademia etc. highly recommended this unique property

Pro: The history of the building was amazing. Great facilities so we could cook and clean our clothing. Central location, close to everything. Great air con.

Very lovely property, stunning visit

Pro: The history and background as well as the aesthetics of the property were lovely. The host was very welcoming and gave us a lot of information about the surrounding area. The location was very good and we were close to the centre.

Contro: As it was stated the property was very old and this the electrics were also old. Be careful with the old lamp wires!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property and would definitely recommend to other travellers
