Fantastico weekend in famiglia

Pro: Posizione perfetta, dalla finestra si ha una vista sulla cupola meravigliosa. L'appartamento è bellissimo e ogni stanza ha il bagno in camera. Siamo stati accolti molto bene da Greta che ci ha illustrato l'appartamento e si è resa disponibile per qualsiasi nostra esigenza. Consigliato!

Contro: L'unica pecca sono i letti che non sono comodissimi ma il resto è top!

Absolutely loved everything about it

Pro: Fantastic location. Well stocked kitchen. Incredibly helpful checking in process and information book. Gorgeous property.

Contro: Ideally would have blackout blinds in the lounge - particularly if using the sofa bed on the mezzanine floor. A lift to the 1st floor would have been helpful.

Pro: Huge apartment in a superb location, with an amazing window view of the dome and tower of the cathedral. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good WiFi. Hosts are slow to respond through booking message system but quick to respond via WhatsApp. Contrary to some reviews here it was quiet at night, even over the weekend (but we were there during Pasqua weekend, so maybe it was different than regular weekends). The garage next to the apartment (Garage del Bargello) is quite comfortable, although for stays longer than a few hours they take the car to a distant garage and you have to call one hour in advance for them to bring it back. However the staff was nice and everything went smoothly. You get a discount for staying in the Residenza Covoni (but you have to remind them that on every entrance). Driving through the ZTL to the garage was surprisingly chill and easy.

Contro: The balcony in the upper floor is dangerous for children, with the sofa so close to the glass fence; luckily we were able to move the sofa away from the glass. The elevator doesn't get to the ground floor, so be prepared for 35 stairs until you reach it. Beware of the taps, they are a bit too long and with the high water pressure would spray water on you if you open them too much... Also, although mostly very clean there were a few not so clean spots - under the beds and sofas and behind the internal doors, and a large moldy spot on the ceiling of the downstairs bedroom.

Bliss

Pro: You're never 100% before you check into an Air bnb. From the second the front door was opened, I was struck with the spaciousness of the place. High ceilings, Christmas tree up, heating on, bottle of wine and some local honey as a gift. Right in the center of everything. Lovely bars and cafes nearby. Santa Croce church and the Duomo a stones throw away. The place was ideal. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Greta was great. She was there on time with a smile, gave us the instructions on the area, an app to download, had decorations up. Value for money, great stay, Florence is a dream. If I'm back in Florence again, I'll stay Via Ghibellina. BRAVA!! 10/10

Stunning, great host, loud

Pro: Stunning apartment, beautiful and impeccably clean. Host was waiting for us, incredibly friendly, helpful had cold water for us in the fridge, a welcome gift, amazing. Unbelievable views, central location, love the host, love the apartments.. But

Contro: Thr noise. There is no way around it and you need to know about it. The level of screaming, yelling and crowd noise is unbearable, and lasts past 3am. Groups of 40-50 kids gather outside all night long. A restaurant next door caters to school and young tour groups who hang out and block the doorway. It is impossible to sleep in the main bedroom because of the noise. Upstairs is better, but till requires ear plugs. It was a frustrating stay as we dreaded bedtime. Perhaps upgraded windows may help.

wonderful, amazing place to stay with great location and fantastic facilities.

Pro: Location was superb. Accommodation and facilities were fantastic. Hosts were terrific. View of the Duomo from the lounge window was incredible. The place was so close to all the attractions we could walk everywhere. Having to climb 4 sets of stairs to get to the lift was a bit daunting but grateful the lift was there for the rest of it. Would stay there again any time and recommend it to everyone. Hosts were very quick to help solve any problem.

Contro: The stairs to the lift were the only negative but manageable as was travelling with someone who could get luggage up and down the stairs at the beginning.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Florence

Pro: Character filled, stylish accommodation in a wonderful location. Outstanding views. Lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts who were great to deal with. Highly recommended.

Contro: While we were perfectly fine with it, just be aware you do need to carry suitcases up a floor before accessing the lift to the 3rd floor. Well worth it though on arrival at the apartment! Amazing views and ambience.

Exceeded expectations - probably the best apartment stay I have had!

Pro: This apartment is so well positioned in Florence only a few minutes walk from most of the major sights. It is a big, light, airy apartment with good aircon, lovely bedrooms and each has a shower. So well equipped inc kitchen. Very comfortable. Will definitely return.
