Una favolosa scoperta a Firenze
Pro: Praticamente tutto perfetto. Cucina con elevati standard salotto con tutto occorrente anche la tv con netflix, la camera era provvista di ampia cabina armadio bagno con doccia comoda e lavatrice. A circa. 13 minuti a piedi dal centro di Firenze in zona appena dentro la ztl. Host gentilissima

Beautiful and spacious apartment
Pro: The unit we stayed in was spacious and stylishly decorated. It had everything one needed and was within a close walking distance on the other side of the river from the main tourist section. It was close to more local restaurants and supermarket. Our host, Cristina, was quick to respond to messages. We had an issue while we stayed with the electricity tripping from the boiler on our 2nd evening. Cristina responded immediately and when it couldn't be resolved refunded us for our final night. A definite place we would return to.
Contro: The unit was on the ground floor and you could hear pedestrians at night when they walked pass.

Pro: Dimore d'Oro exceeded all expectations and was outstanding value for money. Cristina was a welcoming and responsive host which made the stay even more delightful. The property located a leisurely 10 - 15 min stroll to the main attractions in Florence city. 15 minutes if you wanted to take the opportunity to have a more scenic walk past the Pitti Palace and over the Ponte Vecchio... also providing many shopping opportunities. Tasso Square is a very easy 5 mins walk away and is a great place to experience fabulous and inexpensive local food and drinks. Close to supermarkets and an excellent, early opening bakery 200m away with great coffee and pastries which is very handy when you have early morning tours planned. Very spacious and awesome amenities. The washer and dryer were very appreciated after several weeks of travelling!

We loved both the apartment and the position.
Pro: This one bedroom apartment on the ground floor is a treat. Really nothing not to like about it. The rooms are spacious and attractive. Very comfortable seating, even in the dining area. Good bathroom with ample hot water. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. We stayed for 2 weeks. Great position on the 'wrong' side of the river but still in the historic centre of fabulous Florence without the streams of tourist groups. Bonus of being in quite an artisan area which makes for interesting walks. Also great local family run trattorias abound. No noise from outside or inside of the building at night.
Contro: A dryer would be good as there is no outdoor area to hang clothes. More than one power point in the kitchen would be appreciated.

Excellent location with modern convinces!
Pro: The location was in the Oltrarno District - a short 15 minute walk to city center and all the main attractions. The neighborhood is off the beaten path with plenty of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and shopping near by. The apartment was modern, clean, easily accessible on the ground floor and very comfortable. Smart TV, Nespresso machine, microwave, washer/dryer combo and dishwasher were all excellent additions. Highly recommend!

Pro: The apartment was quite large and comfortable and very eclectically decorated. We didn't cook too many meals but had everything we needed when we did. Cristina was flexible with our meeting time when our train into Florence was late, so that was much appreciated. The sofa and bed were quite comfortable, and the bedroom closet was huge. WiFi was always reliable, and there is a TV with Netflix. The apartment is located across the river from the main touristy areas, so was relatively quiet (although there was still a decent amount of noise from other apartments in the building), but that did mean a 20-30 min walk to many of the activities we did. There was a nice grocery store, a great bakery (Wild Buns), and several restaurants within a 5 min walk. We would definitely stay here again.
Contro: A few of the amenities in the listing were not true for our first-floor apartment (soundproof, daily housekeeping, terrace), but that did not affect the comfort or enjoyment of our stay.
