Pro: Oltre alla cortesia e prontezza di Gabriel nel soddisfare le mie necessità, ho particolarmente apprezzato la comodità del letto (mai scontata) e dei cuscini in memory foam, che sono quelli che uso io: mi sono sentito a casa e ho riposato veramente bene. Sicuramente per la Didacta del prossimo anno, lo terrò in considerazione.

Pro: Everything in the list was accurate. The place was amazing. If you’re planning a long stay here, the washing machine is amazing!
Contro: Location is 20min outside the main city but it’s a great quiet residential area.

Pro: Wonderful apartment just a short stroll away from the city centre and from the train station. It had everything we needed for a 4 night stay and felt really secure! Gabriel was excellent, really attentive and gave us lots of recommendations which was super helpful for our first trip to Florence. Would highly recommend!

Great Airbnb!
Pro: A great Airbnb that comes with a washing machine (major win for us as we had travelled around Italy for 9 days before arriving to Florence, so we could run our own laundry). The studio room was very spacious and the kitchen had everything stocked for you. The washroom was also very clean and tidy. The location is a bit away from the Cathedral but that didn’t deter us from exploring the city on foot as we could reach the Cathedral in 15 minutes. The host also shares a very comprehensive handbook that answers all your questions about what to see, where can you eat, closest public transport to you etc., and we made use of this. The check in and check out procedure was also very easy.

Pro: Loved the court yard entry and the flowering wisteria we overlooked. Apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine and water which was a nice touch.

A charming house for two people.
Pro: If you've watched the Ripley series on Netflix, you'll absolutely love the building where this house is located—it’s almost identical! You might even find yourself waiting to see if a fluffy cat appears near the elevator, just like in the show. The house is in an original building that you reach by passing through a beautiful courtyard, and you can take an old-fashioned elevator or use the stairs. The house itself is small but perfect in every way. It has everything from an iron to coffee machine capsules. It’s very clean and charming, making it a great spot to unwind after a busy day. However, the best part of this stay is the owner, Gabriel, who might just be the sweetest person in the world. He explained everything in the area in great detail, gave us excellent recommendations, and was always reachable. He personally handed us the keys and was incredibly helpful and kind.
Contro: Since the city has a medieval layout, you’ll generally need to walk everywhere. During our entire vacation, we only used the tram to get to and from the train station; otherwise, we walked everywhere. The house is about 2 kilometers from the city center, so you should factor in about 4 kilometers of walking each day on top of the distance you'll cover while exploring. The location of the house is actually very nice, with everything you need close by. The only downside is that it's a bit of a distance from the city center. However, the train station is just two tram stops away, or a 10-minute walk, making it very convenient if you’re planning any intercity travel. Being close to the train station is definitely a plus.

Great apartment, highly recommended
Pro: Literally a hidden gem of Florence. Freshly renovated apartment, small, cozy and clean. Neighbours were super quiet. Location was just perfect, 10-15 min walk from the historic centre. The residential area was charming, beautiful architecture, quiet, not crowded, prices at restaurants and grocery shop are more reasonable. Property manager Gabriel was super friendly and welcoming, gave great tips on restaurants and places worth visiting. Thank you Gabriel and hope see you soon :)
