Sobrio e Confortevole

Pro: Ambiente accogliente e ben arredato. Pulito e confortevole.

Contro: Poco funzionale la camera da letto al piano superiore per chi ha qualche problema nel salire le scale, specialmente di notte. Necessariamente, la valigia deve rimanere al piano inferiore e ci si deve cambiare e vestire nel salone (dopo le funzioni mattutine in doccia). Manca in bagno un riduttore elettrico per l'asciugacapelli, bisogna utilizzare la presa elettrica nel salone ed asciugarli lì.

Nice spacious place in a great location

Pro: The place was spacious and comfortable. The shower was nice. The kitchen was a nice touch to heat up some leftovers. The location was great for walking with luggage to and from the train and the attractions

Pro: Help. personal service, location was just what we wanted. The unit had everything we need for a comfortable pleasant stay.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and the location was excellent.

Pro: The apartment was centrally located convenient for the train station, airport and centre of the city. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with what we needed. We were met at the apartment and the handover was helpful and seamless. And we were kept in touch continually prior to the arrival day which was really helpful and messages we sent were always answered promptly. Generally it was an excellent experience.

Contro: The shower head was loose and so difficult to use. The street outside was a bit noisy but that’s due to the convenient and central location so to be expected.

Lovely stay, feels like home rather than accommodation. Perfect location with lots of amenities

Pro: Giglio Bianco has the perfect location, close to everything you might want to see in Firenze. We walked to all the main sights from the property, it is in a busy but not crowded part of the city. Just round the corner from the main train station but already in the historical centre, you can still mix with the locals, which I particularly loved and again just minutes away from a large number of family run restaurants, there's a grocery shop where you will find everything you need and the food market is at the end of your street. The flat is exceptionally clean and really nicely done. We had a very comfortable stay, and the comms from the owner was excellent, we received a number of messages coming up to our stay and someone waited at the property when we arrived, explaining all the details. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Great location and hosts - this was a real treat.

Pro: Best location with wondefully responsive and helpful hosts. Apartment is very spacious, beautifully clean and very quiet even though it's on the street. Bonus that it's ground floor - no lugging heavy cases up narrow stairs. It's in an old building and has plenty of charm, but the apartment has been extensively and tastefully renovated, with all mod cons (no washing machine though, which caught us by surprise - there is a couple of self-service laundries around the apartment though). This apartment is special because of the location - everything was literally just minutes away by foot including the Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace and so on. You really can walk anywhere. Also surrounded by shops of all kinds - supermarket, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and so on. Also an easy walk from the train station. Thank you Matias and Simone, we loved staying here.

Contro: The key situation - there were many times I went out for early morning walks but couldn't take the keys with me because my daughter was still sleeping (and the keys have to stay in the power box to power the apartment). This meant I then had to ring her (and wake her up) to get back into the apartment. Niether of us loved that scenario. I understand you're trying to save electricity by forcing people to keep the keys in the power box, but it's not really practical for travellers. This isn't a criticism - it didn't detract from our stay at all.

A gorgeous flat with everything you need for your stay in Florence

Pro: Property was located only 5 minutes from the train station and the overall location was perfect for us - close to the central food market, vibrant bar and restaurant area, the centre/river etc. The flat is very spacious and beautiful - lovely bedroom, shower and kitchen, everything we needed for our stay was there. We loved our stay in this flat!

Contro: The flat was next to the main front door which bangs loudly from people coming and going - any way of reducing this would be great as it was very loud! We're not the type of people to get very annoyed by this but expect some others might be. There was also a constant knocking on a 'door' which we were very confused by until we realised it was tour groups knocking on the ancient 'wine door' which was on the outside wall. Once we realised this we actually loved it and found it very fun, but worth flagging in case this would annoy future guests!

Very happy with the time we spent at Giglio Bianco.

Pro: Location was ideal...great restaurants and many of the museums within a short walking distance. Kitchen was great for the one night we ate in. Bathroom spacious. We did need to buy toilet paper. Loft bedroom bed very comfortable, sleeper sofa was a sleeper sofa.
