New Residence on Lungarno Soderini near Ponte Vecchio

Well located but in peaceful area away from the crowds

Fantastic

Pro: Walking distance from central station. The facilities and the interior decor of the room were modern, updated and very nice. Host was helpful, and have reached out for help when necessary. There was a nice booklet that provided tips for the usage of the electrical and heating facilities, which was also good to get things under control. The book also included suggestions for nearby restaurants. Felt well looked after.

Contro: The stove / cooking facility in the kitchen did not work, the host provided a microwave to supplement. If this is fixed, then I wouldn’t have any points to raise. Just a good, beautiful apartment.

Pro: Very modern apartment, location is perfect, good size bathrooms, perfect setup for 2 adults, 2 kids. Sent good instructions via video on WhatsApp

Contro: Had to play around a bit with the boiler to ensure hot water for showers. Could do with some basic condiments such as salt/pepper/oil. Received instructions on passport requirements and city tax very late and also instructions (via bookings.com) on how to tidy up etc after we had left

Great host, location and apartment

Pro: Very clean and very well equipped. Plenty of coffee and tea. Having a washing machine in the apartment was a Godsend as we had already been traveling a week and had 2 weeks to go! Plenty of toiletries and toilet paper for the 4 of us for our entire stay. Location was really good—within walking distance of just about everything.

Contro: Parking was a bit of a nightmare the first couple of days; figuring out where we were legally allowed to park without fear of being towed/fined took quite a bit of time. We ended up parking about 2 blocks away and left the car there for 2 days since we knew it was a valid space. When a spot right in front of the apartment became available, one of us stood in that space and the other ran and got our car and parked it there until we left a few days later. We did laugh at the antics of it though! Because the apartment is quite literally right on the street, we did not feel comfortable opening the blinds, therefore, it was a bit dark in the apartment. Also, it would’ve been nice to have a little outdoor space in the back. With all that being said, we realize the owner, Barbara, has absolutely no control over any of these situations! She was very responsive and helpful with ALL our questions!

Un merveilleux séjour

Pro: Logement très cosy où l'on se sent comme chez soi. Très bien décoré , équipé , calme et super bien placé pour visiter Florence à pied. Barbara a toujours été disponible pour répondre à nos questions et interrogations. Un séjour de rêve.

Pro: Excellent location right on Ponte Vecchio. Great restaurants and cafes all around, town centre just 10mins away. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Pro: Apartamento precioso, moderno, muy bien equipado. Fuimos en familia y a todos nos gustó muchísimo. Tenemos muy buen recuerdo. Gracias Bárbara por todo.

Bonic i còmode apartament

Pro: L’allotjament és preciós i molt comfortable, amb molt d’espai, ben decorat i amb tots els estris per una bona estada agradable com ara secador de cabells, plats, coberts i olles.

Contro: Tenia un problema amb els desaigües de les dutxes que s’embussaven provocant un toll d’aigua al cuarto de bany. I la potència contractada de l’electricitat era escassa per la quantitat de coses elèctriques que tenia la casa, amb la qual cosa s’apagava cada vegada que utilitzaves més de dues coses a la vegada.
