The perfect location for a visit to Florence

Pro: The location is fantastic. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. All windows have mosquito screens, air conditioning units throughout house. The hosts were really sweet; they seemed to genuinely care that we enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk everywhere and avoid the notoriously bad traffic in busy, popular tourist destinations. As opposed to most areas in Florence, the immediate vicinity catered largely to local residents which is what we particularly seek out. Nonetheless, the Ponte Vecchio is a mere 10 minute walk. Highly recommended, we would definitely return.

Beautiful villa with charm

Pro: All the appliances are working and are well maintained. You have everything you need. Danielle was super responsive and always ready to help.

Contro: Location is a bit on a hillside, so if you do not have a car can be challenging, especially with a kid in a stroller.

Un cadre enchanteur

Pro: Des hôtes adorables et aux petits soins, avec un accueil personnalisé. Une maison pleine de charme dans un cadre enchanteur, à la fois calme, bucolique et....à quelques minutes à pied du centre de Florence. Idéal pour découvrir la ville : à la fois pratique pour les visites et permettant de se reposer ensuite au calme. Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances idyllique en famille, avec trois enfants.

Great place in Firenze!

Pro: It's been an enjoyable stay in a cozy place! The hosts were kind and friendly, always responding to our requests. The house is very comfortable and has all you need to enjoy a wonderful time in Firenze!

Idéal pour découvrir et parcourir Florence

Pro: La proximité au centre-ville de Florence (20 minutes à pieds du Ponte-Vecchio) tout en étant dans un quartier très calme, dans un secteur très vert. Des équipements complets.

Contro: Rien

Staying at the Villa Porto Romano was the pinnacle of our first week in Italy.

Pro: We loved absolutely everything: the space, the setting, our hosts and the location. If you are visiting Florence this is the place to stay. We also ate at two suggested restaurants outside the gate and were thrilled.

Contro: How can you improve on perfection?

Hus med sjel og super beliggenhet.

Pro: Veldig imøtekommende og hyggelig vertskap. Rolige omgivelser og likevel sentralt. Koselig hus med fine uteområder.

Pro: La villa possède de nombreux atouts : spacieuse, emplacement assez proche du centre historique de Florence, grand parc boisé à côté, une climatisation très appréciable en cette période de canicule, un veritable havre de calme et de fraîcheur. Les hôtes sont très disponibles et chaleureux. Idéal pour visiter Florence et ses environs.

Contro: Rien, tout à été parfait.

Pro: Accueil très convivial, des hôtes disponibles pour toutes les demandes, de très bons conseils pour les adresses de restaurants, activités diverses.....ect. De plus une maison de famille exceptionnelle ou l'on se sent de suite chez soi, avec tous les équipements du quotidien, et au delà. Un grand merci à Daniel et Laura pour cette parenthèse extraordinaire. Je conseille fortement, étant client depuis de nombreuses années chez booking, la plus merveilleuse des découvertes.

A beautifully decorated villa with all the amenities for a cozy stay in Florence.

Pro: Includes dedicated parking space inside a gated property. An independent room with en-suite full bath provides private space for a second party in addition to two bedrooms on the second floor. A 3rd bathroom on the first floor makes a convenient powder room for everyone. Daniele and Laura exuded warm hospitality and were super responsive to our inquiries. We took a lot of their recommendations for local restaurants and tours.

Contro: It takes about 30 minutes to walk to most attractions in Florence. Not an issue for us but may be for some people.
