Genteel Home Via della Spada

Pro: Location is great , walking distance to everywhere , safe area , lots of restaurants , bars and cafes around. close to shopping district. I strongly recommend this apartment.

Contro: Only thing is there is no elevator and the apartment is second floor. keep this in mind.

Absolutely stunning apartment in the heart of Florence

Pro: We absolutely loved our stay at Genteel Home Via Della Spada. The place couldn’t be more convenient for seeing all that Florence has to offer on foot. It is right in the middle of the city but doesn’t command excessive rates that you’d find for hotels in the same area. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean and has everything that you need to enjoy your stay. The location also makes it very easy to find food and shops.

Contro: There’s really not anything not to like about the place. It’s absolutely faultless!

Pro: The property was lovely, spacious, and well equipped - exactly as advertised! The location was really central and very easy to get everywhere, and Sara was an excellent host

Contro: The air conditioning wasn't quite at full strength, but was certainly an improvement on the heat outside!

Perfect in all ways

Pro: The place was located in a central location. Very clean and spacious for travelling family. Bathroom and kitchen were stocked with all the needs. Sara was very helpful with assisting with local Parking nearby meeting us at the parking garage on arrival and walking us over to the apartment.

Wonderful location, the perfect size for our family of 4 (it could have easily fit more).

Pro: The location was very central to everything that we wanted to do in Florence. The air conditioning was wonderful, with units in each bedroom that stayed nice and cool even in the 100 F weather. We didn't cook but stored nice cool drinks in the fridge and made ourselves coffee every morning.

Contro: As others have mentioned, there is no elevator to the apartment, which is on the 2nd floor and the stairs were a bit steep. This was not a problem for us, but if we had an older person traveling with us, it would have been a concern.

Pro: Perfect location and great for kids. Even though there are two flights of stairs we felt comfortable leaving our prams in the lobby.

Great restaurant and bakery downstairs!

Pro: Excellent location. Restaurants, markets and shops, bakeries, train and bus depots all within a few minutes walk. Clean. Comfortable. Washing machine a big plus. Front room facing street can use a bit heavier blackout curtain. Property manager very responsive. Very happy with stay.

Pro: Great location, Sal was great greeting us. Spacious and clean.

Contro: Could of had more keys as we were a group of six adults and only had one set of keys.

Pro: The property is very spacious and the location is central to everything! The best part of the apartment though is most definitely access to the host. Scott was so incredibly helpful in navigating us through the city and even assisted with finding us a parking garage (at 10pm)! We are so glad we stayed here.
