San Lorenzo Central Market Cozy & Quiet Apartment

Posto strategico per visitare Firenze.

Pro: La posizione soprattutto: a 2 passi dalla stazione e a 2 passi dal Duomo; tutto a portata di mano compreso il supermercato. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa.

Contro: Le scale sono strette e scomode soprattutto per portare su i bagagli (3° piano senza ascensore). Mancava la quantità sufficiente di stoviglie per il numero di persone che possono prenotare l'alloggio (eravamo in 4).

Pro: La posizione dell''appartamento. L'arredamento ed il fatto che fosse perfettamente pulito.

Contro: Il fatto che sia ad un terzo piano con scale ripide senza ascensore (avevo con me due persone di una certa età).

Pro: The location was excellent; within walking distance of lots of attractions as well as the train station.

Contro: The pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable. I would suggest you think twice if you need a second bed. Otherwise the apartment was fine. Be prepared to climb steps though!!

Florence apartment

Pro: Location right next to the central marketplace was absolutely amazing and very convenient. The beds were quite comfy. The owner was very responsive with respect of communication.

Contro: Lack of reasonable space was a little bit of an issue especially in the shower cubicle and trying to all fit around the kitchen table. Otherwise it was great.

Quiet San Lorenzo market apartment

Pro: The location was excellent just steps outside of the San Lorenzo Market, 10 min walk from the train station, and less than 10 from the Santa Maria Novella Basilica piazza. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor...no elevator. It faces the inside of the building so is quiet, so there no street noise. Below is a food school that may have some noise in the evening but quiets down.by 11pm. The 3 windows open for lots of fresh air. Bedroom is a good size for a couple and the bed size and comfort was good. There are 2 air conditioners for a small place which is great. The gas stove is great for cooking. And the fridge was a good apartment size.

Contro: Even though it was a small bathroom, the shower was very outdated, looked dirty with a very bad shower head, and there is no place to put your shampoo bottle or soap but the toiletries given were just 2 small packets of shampoo and soap. The plug in the kitchen above the stove didn't work, so you couldn't use the microwave or kettle. There are no regular size coffee cups, only espresso sized cups. And there isnt a tea towel for the kitchen. The owner didnt reach out with check in instructions until the morning of and requested payment of room tax in cash on the day of arrival without prior notice.

Pro: On the whole good value for money. Proximity to central Firenze Balcony and ability to cook Proximity to Railway Station Spacious

Contro: A few things needed fixing. Shower and toilet needed a good clean. No plug for sink in kitchen. No working TV Plug damaged. Wi fi code took a while due to I being an lowercase L

A quiet cozy apartment very handy to markets and the duomo.

Pro: Location was great - very quiet yet just around the corner from the San Lorenzo Market and a short walk to the Duomo. It was compact but had all we needed for an overnight stay.

Pro: Great location, just near Mercato Centrale. Clean and cosy apartment

Contro: The balcony is oriented towards an inner courtyard (which is fine), but there is an unpleasant smile coming from time to time from the other neighbours/sewage from the ground floor.
