Apartments Agave-Aloe-Adenia

Pro: La posizione e l'appartamento davvero ben rifinito. Mi ha fatto anche piacere che le stoviglie, piatti e bicchieri non fossero contati. Bello anche il fatto che ti fanno trovare caffè, zucchero e ingredienti di prima necessità come olio e sale.

Contro: L'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuto sono le pentole.... rovinate e con il rivestimento antiaderente che si staccava, sono da sostituire.

Ottima esperienza

Top notch service! The kind of service that makes you say, ‘We’re definitely staying here next time’!

Pro: One word, excellent! From the very beginning till our checked out date. The host and their team were precious and made us feel totally welcome and feel at home. Their responses were prompt too. Just to be clear, our unit got exchanged die to unforeseen reason but it was totally fine. Our replacement unit turned out to be an absolute gem 😍This charming unit, full of character and rustic beauty, sits right in the heart of the old town, literally steps away from the Duomo. We are on the top floor (not suitable for people with mobility issue), old building and understandable given the historic location, but very well maintained. Convenience store next door, main attractions by foot and it couldn’t be more perfect. Whatever it is, the team from this provider will ensure you get the best when you are in Florence (thats from my very own experience). So yes, highly recommended ❤️

Alternative apartment to what we booked but pleasant stay, in a roomy apartment with great hosts

Pro: Our original apartment was cancelled so the host offered an alternative option called Flora apartment. It was in a different area, probably bigger apartment that what we had booked but not as fresh inside. It was roomy, with all amenities. The host was very helpful and even let us into the apartment early after a very early start so that was appreciated. The host also checked in that we had arrived which was nice. The area felt safe and had plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable and large. There is a bank up to the flora apartment and stairs inside no lift. The check out instructions were sent on a what’s app aswell as booking.com message and were easy to follow. We very much enjoyed Florence and our stay in the Flora apartment. And the host was very helpful.

Contro: The apartment is beautiful but had some areas that were a little basic, there was black mould above the shower, the air con was dated (we didn’t use it) the walls could do with painting and the kitchen was dated. Saying that it had everything we needed, it was roomy, the area was great and we enjoyed our stay. It wouldn’t put me off re booking that apartment or using the hosts again as they were great. The apartment was a little noisy a couple of times we heard upstairs' and next door but usually during the day the night was peaceful.

Florence

Pro: A beautiful apartment with a kitchen, living room, bedroom & bathroom. Lots of space and very clean. It had a washer, dryer, iron & ironing board. Only a 10 minute walk to the centre and a stones throw from some amazing restaurants. If you stay here check out the restaurants and the wine window just down the street

Pro: We were moved to the Salvia apartment on the other side of the river as something was happening with our original. A bit further from the centre, but close to Ponto Vecchio. The staff were brilliant and could not have been more helpful, especially with our luggage being lost for days by the airline. The apartment was large and well provisioned, very comfortable.

Contro: The stairs are a nightmare, and definitely not suitable for older folks, those with mobility issues, or those with a lot of luggage. This prevents us from giving top marks.

If you need just right place to stay in Florence - this is it

Pro: Good location, modern design, appliances, enough space for 2 people

Really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend to another couple.

Pro: Located within access of the tourist sites we wanted to visit. Good local guide maps provided. Local food shops and cafes in the neighbourhood. The small kitchenette was fairly well equipped for self catering, hot food using hob only. There was good communication with the property management and replaced the coffee machine that needed de-calking. Only six minute walk from the tram stop by the railway station.

Contro: Coffee making instructions would have been useful and the few pods provided were generic ones, they needed a particular to insert or they fell through. What and where to buy for replenishing the pods as we used them up and bought ones that didn't fit.

A quiet bolt hole in the centre of Florence

Pro: A 15 minute walk from all the city attractions e.g. Duomo, Accademia, Uffizi & Ponte Veccio. Inside was tastefully decorated and thank you for the coffee machine! That first espresso of the day was just what we needed to get spun up for a day of many many steps!

Contro: Having to take our own rubbish away was different to what we were used to.

A great stay! Recommended.

Pro: Great studio-appartment in walking distance to public transport, the entire old town and a great neighbourhood restaurant. Also great service, although only through messaging.

Contro: A little noisy in the street during the weekend, but that was also because we slept with an open window.
